Football Fan Group Visits Schoolgirl Attacked Over Hijab in Zepce

Members of the BH Fanaticos fan group visited a young girl from Zepce. The girl was attacked during a school trip because of her religious scarf. The fans brought her gifts. They also invited her to attend an upcoming football match of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

The incident happened during an excursion to Matinski Vis organized by Zepce Elementary School. The mother, Denisa Becic, reported that a boy pulled the girl's hijab off on a school bus. She also warned that Bosniak children face bullying.

The BH Fanaticos condemned the act. They stressed that all children must be equal and protected. The school stated that they take the incident seriously, but they denied trying to hide the case.
