US Military Prepares Israel Evacuation Plan Amid Iran Deal Prospects

The United States plans to evacuate all military aircraft from Israel's Ben Gurion Airport within 72 hours if a deal is signed with Iran. These planes would move to European bases, prepared to return if fighting resumes. There has been no official comment from US or Israeli authorities. However, Israeli civil airlines recently complained about the large US military presence at the airport. Transport Minister Miri Regev urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz to remove the US planes. She cited "serious damage" to civil airport operations, especially as foreign airlines return. This plan comes amidst diplomatic talks between Washington and Tehran, mediated by Pakistan. These talks aim to end a conflict that began with US and Israeli attacks on Iran on February 28, followed by Iranian retaliation.
