Monsignor Franjo Topić Congratulates New Grand Mufti Nedžad Grabus

Academic Monsignor Franjo Topić congratulated Dr. Nedžad Grabus on his election as the new Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Topić sent the message on his own behalf and for the Human Brotherhood Foundation.

Topić noted that he has known Grabus for more than thirty years. He praised his past leadership as mufti in Slovenia and Sarajevo. He highlighted that Grabus is an educated and capable leader. Topić expressed hope that the new Grand Mufti will foster reconciliation among people suffering from the consequences of the war. He also expects Grabus to continue strong interreligious dialogue, similar to his predecessor Husein Kavazović.
