Mostar Faces Backlash Over Halt to Newborn Subsidies

The City of Mostar ended one-time payments for newborns without warning. The "Porodice 3 plus" association appealed to Mayor Kordić. They demand the city restore these funds for 2026. Large families are most affected, as they received over 5,000 KM for additional children. The association believes this move hurts Mostar's future and sends a wrong message during population decline.
