Sarajevo Officials Criticized for 'Fake' Resignations Post-Accident

The incident should not be solely blamed on one person. Years of neglect towards GRAS, its vehicles, and infrastructure may be the real cause. If systemic issues led to the accident, responsibility must extend beyond the last person in the chain.

Authorities' reactions after the tragedy are questionable. The Government of Canton Sarajevo resigned, calling it political responsibility. Yet, these officials remain in their posts. The GRAS director also resigned but continues working. This suggests resignations were a public show, not a real departure. The Council supports the GRAS Union's demand for a complete investigation. Responsibility must be individual and based on evidence. It should not end at the lowest level if deeper problems exist.
