BiH Candidate Slams Croatian Party's 'Fascist' Territorial Ideas
Slaven Kovačević, a candidate for the BiH Presidency, criticized the Domovinski pokret's Declaration from Croatia. This declaration proposed changes to Bosnia and Herzegovina's internal organization.
Kovačević stated that Croatian politicians attempting to impose control over BiH is unworkable and damages relations. He warned such ideas, if not aligned with European democratic values, hinder BiH's EU membership.
He strongly condemned "fascist ideas" based on apartheid and ethnic division. Kovačević noted the Hague court identified creating mono-ethnic territories in BiH as a goal of a joint criminal enterprise. He stressed that BiH's internal decisions are made only by its own institutions, not Zagreb or Belgrade. He urged Domovinski pokret officials to learn about democracy.
