Court Confirms Minister Hid Sarajevo Tram Contracts

The Democratic Front (DF) demands the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Transport and Government publish the full tram track reconstruction contract. This follows a Cantonal Court ruling. The court confirmed information was hidden from the public after a Transparency International BiH complaint. The DF claims this proves suspicious contracts are illegally concealed. Minister Adnan Šteta tried to label the multi-million dollar project a "business secret." The DF calls this a mockery of citizens funding it. The court's decision exposes the ruling "Trojka's" pattern of secret public spending. The DF insists public resources will not be treated as private property. Adnan Šteta had previously promised to publish these contracts after a tram accident, but he did not.
