Srebrenica Memorial Center Director Claims RS Police Planned Mass Arrests

Emir Suljagić, director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, recently shared details about a past threat. He claims the Republika Srpska police planned to raid the Memorial Center. The alleged plan involved special forces entering the center before a commemoration. Their goal was to arrest staff for supposedly having illegal weapons. Suljagić stated he saw an intelligence report outlining this plan two years ago. He said the operation did not happen thanks to "proactive actions" by OSA. Suljagić views this as a type of ongoing pressure faced by the Memorial Center. He added that the center constantly deals with such challenges.
