Key Rulebook for Border Jobs Fails to Pass
The Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) Governing Board did not approve changes to its internal organization rulebook. Zijad Krnjić, a board member, voted against it. This decision leaves ten border crossing job positions unfilled. The UIO sought these changes for better work organization, following an international agreement with Croatia. Board decisions require full agreement. Krnjić stated there was no urgency. He also requested the agenda include decisions on VAT distribution between entities. Other board members supported the changes.
